Turn to Proverbs 18:19-24
Proverbs 18:19-24 King James Version (KJV)
19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.
20 A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.
23 The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly.
24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
A brother that gets offended is hard to win like a strong city and their intentions are hard as a castle. A man that is full is satisfied with their food in their mouth and with their lips it will make them full. The tongue can be used in the power of life and death and they that love to use their tongue will reap the fruit of their tongue. A person that gets married is a good thing and gain favor with the Lord. A poor man uses smoothness while a rich man will use roughness in their talk. A man that has friends must be friendly and a close friend is like a brother or sister to you.
