We also hold up the Leadership of Jesus is Lord Fellowship and pray that you will build a hedge of protection around their lives.

Praise and Worship:

Teach Me Your Way

Teach me Your way
That I may follow
To walk in Your truth
That I may fear You

Today, I will glorify Your name,
With all that I am, proclaim
You are faithful and good

God on high
Be glorified
You are faithful and good
My life is yours
My heart adores
You are faithful and good

O Lord, hear me
For I am needy
You are my God
Have mercy on me

Today, I will glorify Your name,
With all that I am, proclaim
You are faithful and good

God on high
Be glorified
You are faithful and good
My life is yours
My heart adores
You are faithful and good

Open Up My Heart

Every time we think of You and we realize
That You're always there for us
All we have to do is open up our hearts to You
Help me open up my heart

The love You gave us is like a beacon of light in the sky
Never ending on my part
But with love that light is guiding me in my darkest night
If I open up my heart

Let me open up my heart
Let me thank You for the wonders of Your love
For the cross the pain and everything
You went through for me
Lord I opened up my heart

When we stand here hand in hand (side by side)
Your mercy's flowing without an end (forever more)
We sing for You O Lord our God (to honor and worship)
'Cause You've opened up my heart

I have opened up my heart
I will thank You for the wonders of Your love
For the cross the pain and everything
You went through for me
Lord I've opened up my heart

Lord I've opened up
Lord I've opened up
Lord I've opened up my heart

Lord I've opened up
Lord I've opened up
Lord I've opened up my heart

(Prayer)
Lord, when we stand here
Hand in hand, side by side
Your mercy flowing without an end
Forever more
We sing for You our Lord, our God
To honor and worship
Cause You, You've opened up our hearts Lord
You gave us something to believe in
Someone to believe in
Jesus Christ, Your only son
The Savior, Messiah, Redeemer and friend
The one who's lived for us, and died for us
For us all, none excluded
And for that we thank you
We thank you, the Lord of all
Who was, and is, and is to come
Hallelujah
Amen

ARE YOU WILLING TO POUR IT OUT?
Dr.Diana Brevan

In the life of every Christian there comes a time when we must realize that keep-ing what God has given us to ourselves is helping no one, not even us.

The Holy Ghost was given on the day of Pentecost. God was pouring out Himself to the Apostles and filling them with His life that they could go and pour it out to as many vessels as they could find.

1. We are indebted to God to do his will.

2. How often do we come to Him and remind Him how we have served Him and how we are in need of a miracle.

3. If He asked the question “What do you have in your house (Your Body) what would you tell Him?

4. I have the Holy Ghost (The Oil of Salvation).

5. Then if He would say for you to go out and find as many empty vessels as you can and pour the oil into them and it will be enough to pay your debt. What would you do?

The church today does not use what God gives them, we are not pouring out all that we have to fill up the lives of others.

You cannot mix oil and water together because they don’t mix. You can’t mix sin and Salvation together because they won’t mix either.

Matt 6:24-25

24. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

25. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

A. We are either going to learn to trust God or trust ourselves

B. We cannot serve two masters (our will and His will, because all that does is make us miserable).

Parable of the talents
Matt 25:15-19
15. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

He won’t give you more than you can handle.

What are we going to tell God when He comes to see what we have done with what He has given us?

We know according to the parable of the wedding supper that the excuse for not coming didn’t impress the good man of the house but made him angry (So we are without excuse).

1 Kings 17:10-15
10. So he arose (The man of God) and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.

11. And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in your hand. He was asking for more than she was will-ing to give) God will ask you for more than you are willing to sacrifice.

12. And she said, As the LORD thy God lives, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

Man of God I am giving up and I’m dying so my kids might as well die too.

13. And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first and bring it unto me and after make for thee and for thy son.

14. For thus said the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, {that’s the promise} neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sends rain upon the earth. {that’s the promise} And God never lies!

15. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. This is what saved her and her son.

Here’s what the Lord spoke to me after a long season of prayer: when this wid-ow woman was willing to take what she had and be obedient to the word of the Lord spoken by the Prophet of God, when she took the meal and mixed it with the oil and it became bread for the man of God, but it also brought salvation to her and her son who was about to die for they were down to a nothing.

Mixing the meal and the oil is like mixing the word and the Spirit together; it brings life sustaining meat to all that it is given to and it will always sustain you through a dry season.

God chose someone who had just about lost hope and ready to die and He sent a man of God to her and He asked of her all that she had left and it was enough. Make me a cake and bring me a drink of water. And she did.

That’s a lot to give when you have little to offer.

Are you willing to give all that you have left so you and your family won’t perish?

Her meal barrel never ran dry, her (Bread of Life and her oil never wasted (the spirit of God)

God spoke to me to bring this message tonight because he knows you are going through a dry season and He wants to save you and your family.

When you are willing to give it all to God and hold nothing back it doesn’t matter how low you get it will be enough as long as you have God.

- You may not have what the world has

-But you have to understand the world was starving to death, and she and her family were eating everyday and they had water to drink every day.

But let me ask you this, “Are you willing as she was to obey the word of the Lord that came from the prophet’s mouth?”

The problem with all of us we go through a dry spell and we are ready to eat what little we have and let the Holy Ghost run dry in our lives.

Remember not only was she giving up and dying in this famine but also her son was dying because she was willing to give up.

Question: Was she a widow because her husband had already given up and died? I don’t know the circumstances there; I just know the word of the Lord said;

1 Kings 17:12 And she said, As the LORD thy God lives, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel and a little oil in a cruse; and behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it and die.

You can’t eat what have left; you have to be willing to pour it out.
Giving up and taking your kids with you isn’t what anyone should do!

Don’t do that! Pour it out! Pour it out!

She saved herself and her son by giving what she had left to the man of God. What are your kid’s worth to you?

The prophet came because God sent him, because God knew she was about to give up on life. God sent a prophet to restore life if she was willing to hear what the Lord God had to say.

“We don’t have anything left”, was going through her mind, “so me and the boy might as well be dead”.

People starve to death spiritually because they are ready to just give up and die instead of pouring out what they have to save the whole family.

There is another woman in the Bible that was having hard times and she came to see the man of God.

Here’s the difference in the two widows.

One woman, God sent a Prophet to and the other went to the man of God and told him her problem and he gave her the answer she needed.

She obeyed him and her sons were not sold into slavery, but they were free and she had plenty left to live on.

She was willing to obey and pour out what she had to save her children, as was the first.

When it seems you don’t have enough to give it to God, He can us it and get glory

2 Kings 4:1-6

1. Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets un-to Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and you know that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.

2. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? Tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said your handmaid hath not anything in the house, save a pot of oil.
(Today not many people ask the man of God for help they just try to figure it out themselves and die.)

Here’s the advice he gave her:
3. Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbors, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

4. And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels and thou shalt set aside that which is full.

Here’s obedience to the word:
5. So she went from him and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.

Here’s the blessing for Obedience:
6. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

7. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.

She took the oil of the spirit, went out and got as many empty vessels as she could and began to pour out all that she had in them and they were full and lis-ten; And the oil stayed.

I. Not only was there enough to pay her debt but enough to keep her full.

II. When you are willing to pour it out, God is willing to fill it back up!

III. When you are willing to pour it all out to God, not only you, but your children will be saved.

When we mix faith with God’s Spirit it always brings life and happiness.

Conclusion:
If the widow of Zarephath disobeyed the man of God both her and her son would have died and God would have sent the man of God to someone else.

If the widow whose sons were about to be sold into bondage would not have gone out and borrowed the bottles, she may have had a bottle of oil left but her kids would be slaves.

I suggest we pour out all that we have and give it to God so He can fill empty Ves-sels.

The parable of the talents shows God’s willingness to put His trust in us to do His will and multiply what He has given us.

I. If you are satisfied being a church member you will have nothing to of-fer God.

II. If you are satisfied with a couple things and do nothing with them they are useless to the Kingdom of God.

III. If you have more than one talent and never us it what will you give God?

Your walk with God needs to be more than church, home and to work doing the same ole thing day after day.

1) When the Prophet was hungry he asked for bread (the word of God).

2) When he was thirsty he asked for water (The Spirit of God).

3) And God provided what he needed and He used someone who was about to give up.

4) God used someone who was about to lose everything.

5) God always gives victory to those who will seek His will.

When you pour all of your life out to God, you will see that He will fill it back up and you will never run dry.

My suggestion: Pour out yourself to God. Empty yourself of all your cares and sins. Finally, mix the oil with the meal and bake a cake that will take you through the tribulations that are coming upon the world.
