Proverbs 19:14-17 King James Version (KJV)
14 House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.
15 Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and an idle soul shall suffer hunger.
16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.
17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
A home and wealth are given for an inheritance to a man, but a wife is given from the Lord. If you are lazy, you will sleep for a long time, and a lazy worker will die from hunger. A person that keeps the law will keep his own soul, but if you don’t his ways will lead to death. If you have pity on the poor, they will borrow from the Lord, and the ones that help the poor will help them again when needed.
