Ponderings from our very own Dr. Diana Brevan for today

Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word.

ANGELS

Psalms 91:11-13 (AMP) For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot.

This is another amazing promise from God. Angels accompany and defend and preserve us in all of our ways of obedience and service. We do not see the spiritual realm where angels operate, but we sometimes see the results of their protection. It is unexplainable in the natural realm, but cannot be denied.

A friend of mine was at a stoplight, and when the light turned green his car stalled. He looked down and he was in second gear. As he started his car and put it into first gear, a car ran the red light. He could have been killed if his car was not in the wrong gear. That was an angel preserving him!

Another friend of mine was detained at church much longer than she usually stays after a Wednesday night service. When she finally got on her way, she discovered that there was a very bad accident which she might have been part of if she had left at her normal time. That again, was an angel accompanying and protecting her.

They bear us up on their hands lest we dash our foot. You are protected by big angels: powerful beings who listen to the voice of God's Word as we speak it, and they obey it!

Then, God gives us an awesome promise of victory over the enemy, represented by the lion and the snake. With God on your side, who can be against you? God put His Holy Spirit in you to cause you to win in every situation in your life.

Today, grab a hold of these promises!
Confession: God gives His angels [especial] charge over me to accompany and defend and preserve me in all my ways [of obedience and service]. They bear me up on their hands lest I dash my foot against a stone. I tread upon the lion and adder, the young lion and the serpent I trample underfoot.
