Searching the Scriptures with Deacon Matthew 5/14/19

Turn to Proverbs 20:25-30
25 It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.
26 A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them.
27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
28 Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy.
29 The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the grey head.
30 The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.
It is a hindrance for a man who devours in holiness and when they enquire after making vows. A wise king scatters the wicked people away. The Holy Spirit is like a candle of the Lord for the Chrisitan and it can search out the inward parts in the stomach. Mercy and truth helps a king preserve his kingdom and his throne entails mercy. A blessing for the young men is their strength and the beauty of olf men is having grey hair. A wound heals with the blueness around the wound and healing comes also when stripes are inward on the stomach.
