Proverbs 21:1-5 King James Version (KJV)
21 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.
3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.
5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.
A king’s heart can tell the kindness or the wrath of his character by his mood and it is in the hand of the Lord like rivers in a lake it turns whichever way He wants. A person’s through man seems right, but the Lord ponders and finds out if it is right or not. It is better to get justice and judgment on a crime, than do to sacrifice or be lenient on a crime that is manor. A high look, a proud heart, and making fun of the wicked is sinful. The thoughts of a Christian usually tends to lead to plenty, but the thoughts of the person that is quick leads to wanting more.
