Dear Partners World Wide, I bring to you my (Dr. Diana Brevan) ponderings this today. May the Lord richly bless you and yours as we go right into to today’s ponderings prayer and the Word.
BEHOLD, I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW

Revelation 21:1-5 (NKJV) Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John,* saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 “And God will wipe away eve-ry tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new ...”




Here we are at the beginning of a brand new year. This is a year with new possibilities, with new hopes, and new dreams. However, I want to say this: if you would want this year to be the best year yet, put Jesus first. He makes "ALL THINGS NEW".




Too many people say they are going to do this or that and then try to do it in their own strength. It's when we do it in His strength, when we say this is not about me but it's about Christ in me, and I want to do it for my Father, that we see amazing results.




I would like to encourage you this year to write down some spiritual goals. One of them could be reading through your Bible or reading through the New Testament. Maybe it could be tithing for the whole year, or supporting a missionary. It could be praying for fifteen minutes a day. Whatever it is, write them down and put it in a place where you will see it every day. Don't worry if you miss a day or don't achieve all of your goals. I'll tell you this, if you write them down and keep them in front of you, you will achieve more than if you don't write them. In Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV) it says, “Then the LORD answered me and said: 'Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.'”




So go ahead, write down your goals for this year, hold on to them, and watch and see them come to pass in your life.



Confession: Today is a new start of a new year and I'm making a decision to write some goals down and to take a new step for God my Father. I'm going to come to the end of the year having achieved more than I ever have before. MY Name Is your Very Own Sn Pastora. Dr. Diana Brevan Where Jesus Is Lord!
