Turn to Proverbs 25:8-14
Proverbs 25:8-14 King James Version (KJV)
8 Go not forth hastily to strive, lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.

9 Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself; and discover not a secret to another:

10 Lest he that heareth it put thee to shame, and thine infamy turn not away.

11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

12 As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.

13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to them that send him: for he refresheth the soul of his masters.

14 Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.
Do not go in haste to strive for things because you do not know the end of it, especially when your neighbor has put you to shame. Do not have a debate or discover a secret by yourself. Find it out with two or three witness, if you hear it to put yourself to shame and their injury will not go away/ A word rightly spoken is like a golden apple or a picture in a silver frame. An earring or an ornament of fine gold are other examples of a good word spoken and a wise reprover from a ear that obeys the truth. A cold snow comes at the end of harvest is like a faithful messenger that is send to the king and he is refreshed to his soul. If you boast yourself by having a untrue gift will be vainglory and like clouds and wind that produce no rain.
