JESUS IS LORD FELLOWSHIP WORLD WIDE INTERNATIONAL
Where we make a difference in People’s lives

We are a praying Ministry, A going Ministry, a Growing Ministry we are a praying, Going, growing ,we are a Ministry that will bring you the results.

Song: We Will Work Til Jesus Comes

O land of rest, for thee I sigh!

When will the moment come

When I shall lay my armor by

And dwell in peace at home?

Refrain:

We’ll work till Jesus comes,

We’ll work till Jesus comes,

We’ll work till Jesus comes,

And we’ll be gathered home.

No tranquil joys on earth I know,

No peaceful, shelt’ring dome;

This world’s a wilderness of woe,

This world is not my home.

To Jesus Christ I fled for rest;

He bade me cease to roam,

And lean for comfort on His breast

Till He conduct me home.

I sought at once my Savior’s side;

No more my steps shall roam;

With Him I’ll brave death’s chilling tide

And reach my heav’nly home.
Opening Prayer
Lord as we gather this day we ask that you bless those that are delivering your word especially our Deacon Matthew Helmich We also ask that all those receiving your word will do so with an open heart and that your message will be written in their spirit,

· Turn to Psalms 37:1-8, 23-27, 37-40

· 37 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

· 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

· 3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

· 4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

· 5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

· 6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

· 7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

· 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

· 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

· 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

· 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

· 26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

· 27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

· 37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

· 38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

· 39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

· 40 And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

· Today, we will begin a three part series on “How to Live a Successful Life in Today’s World”

· Introduction:

· We are going to focus on the teenagers this year in my sermons and I learned this lesson last Sunday at my home church in Sunday School and all Christians need this to be victorious in this world as a Christian. David wrote this psalm near the end of his life and I felt as a middle aged individual to portray this for the teenager. The teenager if the Lord tarries are the future of the church and we need first of all to have them born again in the kingdom of God (John 3:3) to be successful in the first step. Secondly, you need your son or daughter after they are saved needs to scripturally baptized (Romans 6:4-6) and join their church. Third, teens need to be involved in the church such as an usher, choir member, be a counselor in a youth camp (ages 5-12), help in Vacation Bible School as a helper for ages 3-12. Fourth, they must be faithful attending church on the Lord’s day attending Sunday school and Sunday morning and evening church (Exodus 20:8-11, Hebrews 10:25) and on Wednesday evening to be faithful in the Lord (1 Corinthians 4:2).

· Let’s focus on Psalms 37:1-8 for Part 1

· We need not to do any of the following things as a born again Christians.

· 1. Based on verse 1 we need to not worry ourselves about the people of the world that do evil or the world that sin against God. We need to strive to work the best we can in the world workplaces and schools and try not to sin against God by arguing with your boss or teachers and coaches.

· 2. We need to strive to trust the Lord and not the world for our daily needs of a good home, food to eat, and have clothing to wear every day. If you have good parents, you are blessed teenagers, because some have only single parents and it is more difficult to survive if you only have one parent and have a mother and father is a blessing in today’s society.

· 3. We need to guard our heart (Jeremiah 17:9-10) from the sin of the world and let the Lord use your heart to do things for His glory and you will be rewarded in Heaven and if you do not and use the world to get fame, you will have a proud and boastful heart. If you have pride, you will fall on your face having that attitude.

· 4. We need to trust the Lord parents and teens that work with a good job, our health, and guide in our decision making. If you do not have the Lord, you will work in the world on the Lord’s day and you have to eat unhealthy if you live in a non-Christian home that is single parented and you will make decisions in haste, instead of praying to God to help in decision making.

· 5. We need to strive to be calm and do not have a temper towards our friends and coworkers and strive to do what is right. If we do not do that we will get mad and lose friends and a bad mistake could end a friendship or your job, if you do the task wrongfully or do something in wrath and lose your job and have regrets in the future to land a future job.

We will focus next Wednesday on verses 23-27.

· Prayer of Salvation:

Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?
If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ..

Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to listen to my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!
In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
