Good Morning,
Jeremiah 10-14
This is what the Lord says: “You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised and I will bring you home again. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

When we are in a valley dealing with something that is very difficult, it can be hard to see what God is doing to help with the problem. When you feel that your prayers are just bouncing off the ceiling, it is time to go to the Word. This is our promise from God that He will make it right in our lives. This requires trusting Him to bring some terrible things together to make something good or new. It’s like baking a cake. You take a bunch of yucky ingredients and mix them together to make something really delicious. Have you ever tasted a raw egg? Or how about eating some flour? Baking soda doesn’t taste too good either. Vanilla smells good, but tastes terrible. But when you put these things together you have something very good. Trust that is what God is doing with the things in your life that don’t seem to have a purpose. God know the plans He has for you. They are something good. But sometimes, we have to go through some things that are not very good to get to the place God had in mind all along. So keep reading His Word, keep knowing that He hears you and is working to make all thing work together for those who love Him!
