Opening Prayer
Lord as we gather this day we ask that you bless those that are delivering your word especially our Deacon Matthew Helmich We also ask that all those receiving your word will do so with an open heart and that your message will be written in their spirit,

We also hold up the Leadership around their lives.

· In Matthew 10:42, Jesus promised: And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

This Sermon today is spoken by your very Own Deacon Matthew Helmich

As Deacon Matthew comes to the podium let us take a moment to bow our heads in prayer.
Today let us remember to prayer today for ourselves. For our own needs in health, wealth, and happiness and for our spiritual wellbeing and growth
As we pray also let us hold up all the prayer requests that we have received this past week. Let us also be in agreement with the unspoken prayers that lay in each of our hearts.
Let us lift up all those that have been called as Prayer Warriors, that they may have the Lords strength as they pray and that a hedge of protection may surround them and their families
Let us also prayer for the needs of our local Church including the needs of Jesus is Lord Fellowship WWI. Let us as God for provisions so that His church may be able to continue the work that He has set aside for it. Let us pray for those that have been called to leadership in His church that they may always have strength and a Godly vision. Let us place a hedge of protection around Leaders and their families so that they may be healed from all health problems.

Let us pray that as we listen today our heart and our inner soul will be open to the words so that we may feed freely on the message and drink from the Holy Spirit.

We welcome all National and International Fellowship members and visitors around the globe as you receive the spiritual nutrition of the Lords Word.

Psalm 103

King James Version

103 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21 Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22 Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.

· How to be Thankful Part 2

· A. We must be thankful to God.

· 1. Who He is (Holy)

· God will be always holy and we should do reverence to Him every day of our lives. Because He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ to Earth to pay the ultimate debt of our sins on the cross of Cavalry. He is holy. Turn to Isaiah Chapter 6 verse 3

· And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory

· He is always in the light and there is no darkness around him (1 John Chapter 1 verse 5) and we need to obey his commandments (Exodus 20:1-17, Matthew 22:37-40) and we should be thankful that He will forgive us when we sin towards Him and not doom us to eternal ****ation into Hell.

· 2. What He does (benefits)

· We need to realize God gives us a benefit package when we get saved. If you are lost, we cannot get the benefits. Here are a few examples of the benefits.

· A. He will forgive us our transgressions and sins (1 John 1:9)

· B. We are getting a mansion (John 14:1-3)

· C. We receive a gift from God (1 Corinthians 12:6-8)

· D. We can receive rewards (1 Corinthians 3:10-15)

· E. We can always pray for others (Galatians 6:2)

B. We must be thankful for forgiveness.

We need to be thankful for forgiveness of our sins (Romans 10:13) and we can be saved until the end of time and we all deserve and go to Hell, but by the blood of Jesus Christ shed at Cavalry, we are redeemed by His blood and cleansed from all our sins yesterday, today, and forever.

C. We must be thankful for healing power.

We know that Jesus and the apostles could heal people from their sickness or disabilities and I felt the hand of God as He helped to heal my club foot issue on my right foot and after eleven months of time, that includes two surgeries and eighteen weeks of healing, I am able to walk on my feet again and return to my weekly activities at church, at the high school and my disability group.

D. We must be thankful for salvation.

I am thankful that a nine-year-old boy told me the word saved. I did not know what the word saved meant. After two weeks of church, Sunday school, and revival services, I finally knew what the word meant and eventually had my former pastor tell me how to get saved and I got saved on April 2, 1993, and now saved for nearly thirty years and thankful my sins are washed in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?

Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to listen to my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!
