BE BOLD
Hebrews 4:15-16 (NKJV) For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Because Jesus went to the cross and died for you and me, we have been made the righteousness of God in Him (1 Corinthians 5:21). Knowing this fact, and living like it is real, will change your life and your prayer life!
Many people enter into prayer with a condemnation attitude, always thinking, “Poor me.” I don't know about you, but if I told my kids they can have the pie in the refrigerator, and they keep coming back to me and begging me for it, I think I would go to the refrigerator and eat it myself! (Well, you know I would not do that, but you see what I mean.)
Jesus Christ has come to the earth, brought forth all of these wonderful promises that we read in the Word, and we still beg God for them. We think that by begging we can get God to change, but His Word declares that He changes not.
God is a God of faith, and for us to receive anything that He has promised us from His Word, we need to receive it by faith. In Hebrews 4:16, God tells us to “come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain...” Notice it did not say that we could not obtain. God wants us to be bold as a lion when it comes to believing His Word, not arrogant or big-headed, but bold!
So today, do not be timid. Find out what His Word declares, and then believe Him for it. Remember, God is not holding any good thing back from us; it is the enemy. There is nothing that makes the Father happier than seeing His children receiving what rightfully belongs to them!
Confession: Today, I am believing my Heavenly Father for ________________. According to His Word, I come boldly into the throne room of grace to obtain what Jesus has purchased for me! SÉ AUDAZ
Hebreos 4:15-16 Porque no tenemos un Sumo Sacerdote que no pueda simpatizar con nuestras debilidades, sino que fue tentado en todo como nosotros, pero sin pecado. 16 Por tanto, lleguemos confiadamente al trono de la gracia, para obtener misericordia y hallar gracia para ayudar en tiempos de necesidad.
Debido a que Jesús fue a la cruz y murió por ti y por mí, hemos sido hechos la justicia de Dios en Él (1 Corintios 5:21). ¡Conocer este hecho, y vivir como si fuera real, cambiará tu vida y tu vida de oración!
Muchas personas entran en oración con una actitud de condena, siempre pensando: "Pobre de mí". No sé ustedes, pero si les dijera a mis hijos que pueden tener el pastel en el refrigerador, y siguen volviendo a mí y rogándomelo, ¡creo que iría al refrigerador y lo comería yo mismo! (Bueno, sabes que no haría eso, pero ya ves lo que quiero decir).
Jesucristo ha venido a la tierra, ha dado a luz todas estas maravillosas promesas que leemos en la Palabra, y todavía le rogamos a Dios por ellas. Pensamos que al mendigar podemos hacer que Dios cambie, pero Su Palabra declara que Él no cambia.
Dios es un Dios de fe, y para que recibamos cualquier cosa que Él nos ha prometido de Su Palabra, necesitamos recibirla por fe. En Hebreos 4:16, Dios nos dice que "vengamos confiadamente al trono de la gracia, para que obtengamos..." Nótese que no decía que no pudiéramos obtener. Dios quiere que seamos audaces como un león cuando se trata de creer en Su Palabra, no arrogantes o cabezotas, ¡sino audaces!
Así que hoy, no seas tímido. Averigüe lo que Su Palabra declara, y luego créale por ello. Recuerde, Dios no está reteniendo nada bueno de nosotros; es el enemigo. ¡No hay nada que haga más feliz al Padre que ver a Sus hijos recibir lo que legítimamente les pertenece!
Confesión: Hoy, estoy creyendo a mi Padre Celestial por __ ¡De acuerdo con Su Palabra, vengo confiadamente a la sala del trono de la gracia para obtener lo que Jesús ha comprado para mí!
