GOD IS AT WORK
Philippians 2:13 (NKJV) For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
God is always at work in us. He never stops, even when we think that nothing is happening. His love is so overwhelming that in spite of us, He is there doing what needs to be done.
When we realize the amazing love that our Heavenly Father has for us, and His intense patience, we can sit back and let Him do what needs to be done, because He will only do things that are for our good. You know the old saying, “When life throws you a lemon, make lemonade!” Well, life will throw things at us, but as we put our trust in the Great I Am, believing that He is at work within us, He will work things out for our good. As it says in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God.”
Now, I am not talking about when sickness or something bad comes. We who are growing in the Lord know that these things are not of God. But when the enemy brings stuff, and life brings stuff, we need to hold on to Him just like we would if we were on a wild ride. We know that as the ride comes to an end, we will get off and say, “Man, that was fun!” Well, even the bad things that happen to us will come to an end, and God will work them out for our benefit.
I am always amazed that no matter how bad a rain or snow storm is, when you give it a little time, the sun will come out again and the blue sky will appear. Many times, it is more beautiful and fresh than ever! In the same way, what you are going through today will come to an end, and God will bring His beautiful sunshine out for you!
Confession: God is still working on me. He has not given up on me, and I will not give up on myself. My Father God is doing a good work in me, and just like it takes time for a seed to grow, this work will grow in me and bring forth a great harvest.
DIOS ESTÁ OBRANDO
Filipenses 2:13 Porque es Dios quien obra en vosotros tanto para querer como para hacer para su buena voluntad.
Dios siempre está obrando en nosotros. Él nunca se detiene, incluso cuando pensamos que no está pasando nada. Su amor es tan abrumador que, a pesar de nosotros, Él está allí haciendo lo que hay que hacer.
Cuando nos damos cuenta del asombroso amor que nuestro Padre Celestial tiene por nosotros y de Su intensa paciencia, podemos sentarnos y dejar que Él haga lo que hay que hacer, porque Él sólo hará las cosas que son para nuestro bien. Conoces el viejo dicho: "Cuando la vida te arroje un limón, ¡haz limonada!" Bueno, la vida nos arrojará cosas, pero a medida que ponemos nuestra confianza en el Gran Yo Soy, creyendo que Él está obrando dentro de nosotros, Él resolverá las cosas para nuestro bien. Como dice en Romanos 8:28, "Y sabemos que todas las cosas cooperan para bien de los que aman a Dios".
Ahora, no estoy hablando de cuando viene la enfermedad o algo malo. Nosotros que estamos creciendo en el Señor sabemos que estas cosas no son de Dios. Pero cuando el enemigo trae cosas, y la vida trae cosas, necesitamos aferrarnos a Él tal como lo haríamos si estuviéramos en un viaje salvaje. Sabemos que a medida que el viaje llegue a su fin, nos bajaremos y diremos: "¡Hombre, eso fue divertido!" Bueno, incluso las cosas malas que nos suceden llegarán a su fin, y Dios las resolverá para nuestro beneficio.
Siempre me sorprende que no importa cuán mala sea una tormenta de lluvia o nieve, cuando le das un poco de tiempo, el sol volverá a salir y aparecerá el cielo azul. ¡Muchas veces, es más hermoso y fresco que nunca! De la misma manera, lo que estás pasando hoy llegará a su fin, ¡y Dios traerá Su hermoso sol para ti!
Confesión: Dios todavía está trabajando en mí. Él no se ha dado por vencido conmigo, y yo no me rendiré a mí mismo. Mi Padre Dios está haciendo una buena obra en mí, y así como toma tiempo para que una semilla crezca, esta obra crecerá en mí y producirá una gran cosecha.
