Good Morning!
Philippians 2:12-18
12 Dearest friends, you were always so careful to follow my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away you must be even more careful to put into action God's saving work in your lives, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. 13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him. 14 In everything you do, stay away from complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can speak a word of blame against you. You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a dark world full of crooked and perverse people. Let your lives shine brightly before them. 16 Hold tightly to the word of life, so that when Christ returns, I will be proud that I did not lose the race and that my work was not useless. 17 But even if my life is to be poured out like a drink offering to complete the sacrifice of your faithful service (that is, if I am to die for you), I will rejoice, and I want to share my joy with all of you. 18 And you should be happy about this and rejoice with me.

Paul is talking about working out their problems which they had in the church and working out the problems in their own Christian lives. He is not there to help them and is not sure that he ever will be there again because he is in a Roman prison. So he tells them to work out their own salvation. Paul instructs them and us that God works out that which He had worked in. If God has saved you, He has saved you by faith plus nothing. Your spirit is in perfect communion with God. He will never accept any kind of good works for salvation. But after you are saved, God talks to you about your works. This is the actions of your soul which is your mind, your emotions and your will. The salvation that He worked in you by faith is a salvation He will also work through you by sanctifying your soul. You are saved for good works for the Kingdom of God. God puts the desire in you and your mind thinks His thoughts and you will to do His will and your emotions are surrendered to Him. When you stand before Jesus, He will not ask about your sin, it has been covered by His Blood, but He will ask you what did with the gifts He gave you. Did you surrender your soul to Him? Did you become Christ through your thoughts, will and emotions?

Y ahora que estoy lejos, deben tener aún más cuidado de poner en acción la obra salvadora de Dios en sus vidas, obedeciendo a Dios con profunda reverencia y temor. 13 Porque Dios está obrando en ti, dándote el deseo de obedecerle y el poder de hacer lo que le agrada. 14 En todo lo que hagas, mantente alejado de quejarte y discutir, 15 para que nadie pueda decir una palabra de culpa contra ti. Vais a vivir vidas limpias e inocentes como hijos de Dios en un mundo oscuro lleno de gente torcida y perversa. Dejen que sus vidas brillen intensamente ante ellos. 16 Aférrense firmemente a la palabra de vida, para que cuando Cristo regrese, me sienta orgulloso de no haber perdido la carrera y de que mi obra no fue inútil. 17 Pero incluso si mi vida ha de ser derramada como una ofrenda de bebida para completar el sacrificio de su servicio fiel (es decir, si voy a morir por ustedes), me regocijaré, y quiero compartir mi gozo con todos ustedes. 18 Y deberías alegrarte por esto y regocijarte conmigo. Él no está allí para ayudarlos y no está seguro de que alguna vez volverá a estar allí porque está en una prisión romana. Así que les dice que trabajen en su propia salvación. Pablo les instruye a ellos y a nosotros que Dios lleva a cabo aquello en lo que Él había obrado. Si Dios te ha salvado, Él te ha salvado por fe más nada. Estas son las acciones de tu alma, que es tu mente, tus emociones y tu voluntad. La salvación que Él obró en ti por fe es una salvación que Él también obrará a través de ti santificando tu alma. Eres salvo para buenas obras para el Reino de Dios. Dios pone el deseo en ti y tu mente piensa Sus pensamientos y tu voluntad de hacer Su voluntad y tus emociones se rinden a Él. Cuando te pares ante Jesús, Él no te preguntará acerca de tu pecado, ha sido cubierto por Su Sangre, pero Él te preguntará qué hizo con los dones que Él te dio. ¿Le entregaste tu alma a Él? ¿Te convertiste en Cristo a través de tus pensamientos, voluntad y emociones? ¡Que tengas un Día de Dios!
