Lord as we gather this day we ask that you bless those that are delivering your word especially our Senior Pastor Dr Diana Brevan. We also ask that all those receiving your word will do so with a open heart and that your message will be written in their spirit,
We also hold up the Leadership of Jesus is Lord Fellowship and pray that you will build a hedge of protection around their lives.

As Dr Diana comes to the podium let us take a moment to bow our heads in prayer.
Today let us remember to prayer today for ourselves. For our own needs in health, wealth and happiness and for our spiritual wellbeing and growth
As we pray also let us hold up all the prayer requests that we have received this past week. Let us also be in agreement with the unspoken prayers that lay in each of our hearts.
Let us lift up all those that have been called as Prayer Warriors, that they may have the Lords strength as they pray and that a hedge of protection may surround them and their families
Let us also prayer for the needs of our local Church including the needs of Jesus is Lord Fellowship WWI. Let us as God for provisions so that His church may be able to continue the work that He has set aside for it. Let us pray for those that have been called to leadership in His church that they may have strength and a Godly vision at all times. Let us place a hedge of protection around Leaders and their families so that they may be healed from all health problems.
Let us pray that as we listen today our heart and our inner soul will be open to the words so that we may feed freely on the message and drink from the Holy Spirit.
We welcome all National and International Fellowship members and visitors around the globe as you receive the spiritual nutrition of the Lords Word.

Blessed Are They That Mourn Part 1 of Series

The be (happy) Attitudes
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. (Mat 5:4)
“Did you hear what the Jesus said?” a man in the crowd scoffed to his companion. “Happy are those who mourn. If happiness and mourning go together, then we Jews must be in heaven!”
Another great paradox from the mouth of Jesus
• This one more puzzling yet
• Happy are they that mourn?
Mourning Is Healthy
Have you ever heard the expression “good grief”? It’s true. Grief is healthy. A tear in the eye tells of at least one spring in the soul. It may lie buried beneath emotional scars, a bitter divorce, rejection by parents…memories that will not die.
God’s Therapy
Tears are living proof of life. The man or woman who cannot shed tears is not fully alive. Happy are those who mourn, who can weep like a child, sob it out in their Gethsemane and later find relief in the rich laughter of heavenly consolation. They shall be comforted indeed.
Mourning Over wrongdoing
To have the same grief that you have in the death of a loved one that you do when you look at your sin.
Martin Luther before he left the Catholic Church would go to confession every day.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23)
The Sting of Conscience
Paul speaks of people who are “past feeling” (“who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.” Eph. 4:19) their consciences no longer sting when they break the law of God. This is a dangerous position to be in. Our consciences are supposed to hurt when we sin. It’s how God alerts us to the need for repentance. When we become unable to mourn over sin, when our consciences have been so seared that they no longer react to sin, we are morally doomed.
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. (2 Cor 7:10)
For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. (2 Cor 7:10-11 The New King James Version.)
Forgiveness Leads to Happiness
Happy are those who mourn over wrongdoing, for they are being forgiven. And forgiveness leads to happiness.
Sin and happiness are never found together. Consider King David.
After many years on the throne, he became addicted to the nectar of power. When he saw the beautiful woman Bathsheba, he used his absolute authority to have her brought to him. He committed adultery with her, and to cover up his sin craftily arranged for her husband to be killed.
God sent the prophet Nathan to King David, who “preached” to him. After hearing the prophet David had to make a decision. Would he mourn for his sin? Or would he choose to override his conscience and ignore the voice of God?
Isaiah 61:1-3
61:1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Luke 4:16-21
16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
17And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
20And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
Where Is God When It Hurts
As a pastor I know there are times when no words in human speech can remove the pain from the brokenhearted. Many of those times occur when a tragedy has befallen someone for no apparent reason. A child dies suddenly and the parents ask why. A drunk driver kills a young husband, and his wife and young children ask why. No words can answer that anguishing question. Where is God when it hurts? Sometimes it seems He is silent just when we need Him most. Why do pain and suffering afflict good people? In my opinion there are three basic reasons.
• Because of poor choices
• Because of ignorance
• Because of the sovereign, long-range purpose of God
From Sorrow to Singing
When our hearts are breaking and our eyes are blinded with tears, it’s hard to see the sovereign hand of God guiding our every step. We suffer until the purposes of God become apparent to us, which may not happen for many years and may not be at all in this life.
But if we endure to the end and run the race that is set before us with patience, our tears will turn to joy and our sorrow into singing. We who mourn will be comforted. God guarantees it.

5For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
11Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

Salvation Prayer

Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!
