JESUS IS LORD FELLOWSHIP WORLD WIDE INTERNATIONAL
Where we make a difference in People’s lives
Opening Prayer
Lord as we gather this day we ask that you bless those that are delivering your word especially our Senior Pastor Dr Diana Brevan. We also ask that all those receiving your word will do so with a open heart and that your message will be written in their spirit,
We also hold up the Leadership of Jesus is Lord Fellowship and pray that you will build a hedge of protection around their lives.
Praise and Worship: Let's clap, one, two, hey
Oh, yeah
Let everything
That has breath
Praise the Lord (you got it)
Praise the Lord
Let everything (let everything)
(Hey) that has breath
(Hey) praise the Lord
(Hey) praise the Lord
I'll praise in the valley
Praise on the mountain (yeah)
I'll praise when I'm sure
Praise when I'm doubting (yes, sir)
I'll praise when outnumbered
Praise when surrounded
'Cause praise is the water
My enemies drown in
As long as I'm breathing
I've got a reason to
Praise the Lord
Oh, my soul (c'mon)
Praise the Lord
Oh, my soul (hey)
I'll praise when I feel it
And I'll praise when I don't
I'll praise 'cause I know
You're still in control
Because my praise is a weapon
It's more than a sound (more than a sound)
Oh, my praise is the shout
That brings Jericho down (oh)
As long as I'm breathing
I've got a reason to
Praise the Lord (c'mon)
Oh, my soul
(So I'm gonna) praise the Lord
Oh, my soul
I won't be quiet, my God is alive
So how could I keep it inside?
Praise the Lord
Oh, my soul
(Praise the Lord)
Come on, let me see that dance
Put a dance on it tonight
If you're grateful
Come on, aye, aye
I'll praise 'cause You're sovereign
Praise 'cause You reign
Praise 'cause You rose and defeated the grave
I'll praise 'cause You're faithful
Praise 'cause You're true
Praise 'cause there's nobody greater than You, I'll pray
I'll praise 'cause You're sovereign
(You reign) praise 'cause You reign
Praise 'cause You rose and defeated the grave
I'll praise 'cause You're faithful
Praise 'cause You're true
Praise 'cause there's nobody greater than You
Praise the Lord
Oh, my soul (come on, come on, come on, come on)
I gotta praise the Lord
Oh, my soul
Praise the Lord
Oh, my soul (yes, my Lord)
Praise the Lord
Oh, my soul
I won't be quiet
I won't be quiet, my God is alive
How could I keep it inside?
(Oh, I won't be quiet)
I won't be quiet (my God)
My God is alive (how could I?)
How could I keep it inside?
(Oh, I won't be quiet)
I won't be quiet, my God is alive
How could I keep it inside?
I gotta praise the Lord
Oh, my soul
Let everything
That has breath
Hey, hey (praise the Lord)
Hey, hey (praise the Lord)
Let everything (let everything)
Come on, come on (that has breath)
Come on, come on (praise the Lord)
Come on, come on (praise the Lord)
Let everything (let everything)
If you got breath in your body (that has breath)

Part Six Of Series
Blessed Are The Pure In Heart
The be (happy) Attitudes
Dr Diana Brevan
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matt 5:8
Mark 7:1-3, 20-23
1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem. 2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault. 3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornication’s, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
In scripture, the heart is considered the source of the will, the intellect and the emotions. Fear and courage, love and lust, joy and jealousy, hatred and happiness all make their habitation in the heart.
The heart is also the incubator of deception. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”(Jeremiah 17:9)
A Divine Gift
If we are to be happy (blessed) in an unhappy world, Jesus teaches, we must have a pure heart. A pure heart comes from God. “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh” (Ezek 36:26).
We can’t gain a pure heart by our own efforts. Our generation has been told to think positively. There is certainly much value in having a positive mental attitude. But there is also a great deception if we tell ourselves, my thoughts are positive—therefore my heart is pure.
Our hearts can’t be made right with God through any mental process. A pure heart is the result of a divine miracle made possible by the Lord through the death of Christ on the cross. It happens when we are born again of the water and the Spirit.
Vertical and Horizontal
We all want what comes from having a pure heart: happiness. But how many of us our willing to go through the painful process of change that makes it possible to be happy in an unhappy world?
We must marvel at the genius of Jesus’ principles of happiness. Here are the precise steps with predictable results guaranteed by God to produce genuine, lasting happiness.
The message? Our relationship to other people is as vital to our happiness as is our relationship to God. Happiness has a horizontal dimension as well as a verticale dimension. We can’t say, I love God, and not love other people. It doesn’t work. “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” (1 John 4:20)
This is quite a challenge. After all, God is easy to love. He’s perfect in every way. But the Neighbor next door, or the co-worker, or the boss—they’re a different story!
Without Wax
We can understand purity of heart in two senses. The first meaning is to be without hypocrisy, or to be sincere. The word “sincere” comes from two Latin words. Sin means “without” and cere means “wax.”
The term refers to stone statues. The one thing that could make a statue worthless was a crack in the stone. In an effort to deceive a prospective buyer, a seller might mix rock dust with wax and rub the mixture into a crack on a statue. In dim inside light, the wax made the statue appear flawless. But outside, the sun’s heat would melt the wax and expose the fraud. Thus for a statue to be “without wax “ meant that it was authentic, genuine, just as it appeared to be.
From time to time God, the master sculptor, places us in the heat of trial and adversity, where our content can be tested. If we have become cosmetic Christians whose faults and defects are hidden by the wax of phony religiosity, we will be exposed as frauds. We can’t pretend to be pure and get away with it.
The second meaning of being pure in heart is to be cleansed, or without defilement. Only the pure will be permitted to enter heaven. The Bible say’s, “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life” (Rev 21:27). Nothing unclean is going to enter heaven. The Lord is the one who determines what it means to be clean.
Aren’t Christians already pure by the blood of Jesus, which was shed at Calvary? Yes, but we must choose to remain pure. The Bible say’s, “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure” (1 John 3:3).
In another place it say’s, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up” (James 4:8-10).
Who takes the next step? We do. It’s not God’s job to chase us down. It’s up to us to call upon Him.
At War with God
An impure heart is the reason for much unhappiness. When our hearts are at war with God, there is tension, frustration, anger, confusion, bitterness, loneliness, fear, guilt. When we tell a lie, our hearts hurt. When we slander another with a barbed tongue, our hearts hurt
When we’ve injured our hearts with such massive and prolonged abuse, the only solution is a heart transplant. The Great Physician can give us a new spiritual heart, without pain and without cost. Remember the words written by Ezekiel: “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh” (Ezek 36:26).
Conforming to God’s Holiness
The benchmark of purity is the holiness of God. The holiness of God guarantees that everyone living below the standard of purity will be caught and sentenced. The Bible say’s “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). That’s not a suggestion—that’s an order. God refuses to accept anything less.
King David asked, “Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart” (Ps 24:3-4). The writer of the book of Hebrews said, “ Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14). Jesus said Happy (blessed) are the pure in heart, for they (are the only ones who) shall see God.”
Face to Face
Is it really possible to see God? The answer is yes. Abraham had lunch with God. Moses talked with God face to face. Paul said, “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (I Cor 13:12).
Will you see God face to face? If you allow God to make your heart pure by the washing of the Word and the crimson stream from Calvary, you will see the living God face to face. God guarantees it! Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. My Name Is Sn Pastora Dr. Diana Brevan
Salvation Prayer
Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life?
If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ.
Dear God,
I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved (Rom. 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank You for saving me!
In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.
If you prayed this prayer for the first time, we would like to know. send us an e-mail Or Send to Jesus Is Lord Fellowship WWI Dr.Diana Brevan PO Box 2752 Inverness Florida 34451 or share your testimony. We would love to and look forward to hearing from You Amen!
