Good Morning!

John 10:1-10
1 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 "But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 "And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 "Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers." 6 Jesus used this illustration, but they did not understand the things which He spoke to them. 7 Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 "All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Jesus said He came to give life, not just an ordinary existence but life in its fullness, abundance and prosperity. On the other hand Satan comes only to steal and destroy. The enemy would rob us of what God has for us. If he can keep us from knowing about God, he can keep us from His blessings. Scripture shows us that God wanted us to be happy and prosperous. This does not mean we will all be millionaires, but that we would be content in our situation with Christ at all times. We are told in Genesis that God made everything and declared it good. Then He gave the earth to Adam. Dominion over all the earth was given to man. From the beginning we were intended to have prosperity, health and contentment, abundant life. Jesus is telling us that He has come to restore what the enemy has stolen from what God has given us. Through Jesus Christ we can break and block Satan's intent to prevent us from receiving what God has already given us. He calls us today to know Him and know of His blessings, but we have to take action to claim what is ours. Don't let the enemy steal any more from you. Be empowered by the Word of God in you and receive God's blessings.

1»De cierto os digo que el que no entra en el redil por la puerta, sino que sube por otro camino, es un ladrón y un ladrón. 2»Pero el que entra por la puerta es el pastor de las ovejas. 3 »A él le abre el portero, y las ovejas oyen su voz; y llama a sus propias ovejas por su nombre y las conduce. 4 »Y cuando saca sus propias ovejas, va delante de ellas; y las ovejas lo siguen, porque conocen su voz. 5 "Sin embargo, de ninguna manera seguirán a un extraño, sino que huirán de él, porque no conocen la voz de los extraños". 6 Jesús usó esta ilustración, pero no entendieron las cosas que les habló. 7 Entonces Jesús les dijo de nuevo: «De cierto os digo que yo soy la puerta de las ovejas. 8»Todos los que vinieron delante de mí son ladrones y ladrones, pero las ovejas no los oyeron. 9 »Yo soy la puerta. Si alguno entra por Mí, será salvo, y entrará y saldrá y encontrará pasto. 10»El ladrón no viene sino para robar, matar y destruir. He venido para que tengan vida, y para que la tengan en abundancia.

Jesús dijo que Él vino a dar vida, no sólo una existencia ordinaria, sino vida en su plenitud, abundancia y prosperidad. Por otro lado, Satanás viene sólo para robar y destruir. El enemigo nos robaría lo que Dios tiene para nosotros. Si puede evitar que sepamos acerca de Dios, puede alejarnos de Sus bendiciones. Las Escrituras nos muestran que Dios quería que fuéramos felices y prósperos. Esto no significa que todos seremos millonarios, sino que estaremos contentos en nuestra situación con Cristo en todo momento. Se nos dice en Génesis que Dios hizo todo y lo declaró bueno. Luego le dio la tierra a Adán. El dominio sobre toda la tierra fue dado al hombre. Desde el principio estábamos destinados a tener prosperidad, salud y satisfacción, vida abundante. Jesús nos está diciendo que Él ha venido a restaurar lo que el enemigo ha robado de lo que Dios nos ha dado. A través de Jesucristo podemos romper y bloquear la intención de Satanás de evitar que recibamos lo que Dios ya nos ha dado. Él nos llama hoy a conocerlo y conocer Sus bendiciones, pero tenemos que tomar medidas para reclamar lo que es nuestro. No dejes que el enemigo te robe más. Sé empoderado por la Palabra de Dios en ti y recibe las bendiciones de Dios.
