Real Time Snow Report

http://511.idaho.gov/staticMap.asp?display=cams

When you gals need a snow fix or wonder what it's like up here, try this site.

It is the Idaho Transportation Department weather/road cam network. Click on any of the camera icons for live pictures.

My favorites are:
the Pine Turn off camera two - just to the right and a little above Mtn. Home on the map;

Smith's Ferry - right above Boise toward McCall;

Smiley Creek Airport - just above the camera for Pine Turn-off;

Willow Creek Summit - just to the right of the Smiley Creek icon.

The Pine camera two is looking back toward Bennett Mountain and can have some great pictures early in the morning.

Smiths Ferry is looking down the Payette River near Cougar Mountain Lodge.

Smiley Creek is between Stanley and Galena Summit and has some awesome views of the Sawtooths at times. Summer time too.

Willow Creek is between Arco and Challis and has some good pictures of Mount Borah when the fog and clouds lift.

Enjoy.

Warren,
It is 7:07pm and I went to the cameras, but when I click on them, it is just black??????
Daytime is a better time?
Thanks for the link.

Re: Re: Real Time Snow Report

Some of the cameras do have lights, but the best views are during daylight hours.

The cameras are actually for the snowplow guys to see what the road conditions are without having to drive for miles. They still have some awesome views when the sun is up.
