OK - I'll say it if no one else will. I've always been a fan of big hair and I was sorry when styles in the mid to late 60's started going the other way.
I think those girls look beautiful. Bring back big hair!!

It is Boyd Gailey, Diana Aguirre, Gloria Uriona, and Bill Gailey.
to Love the Hair,
Yes, big hair was great, if you could get your hair to do that. I have a picture of Wayne Selvig's wife from college with hair that would top Diana's. But my hair would never do that. Ratt it, spray it, ratt it, spray it and still by the time I got to school, it was flat on my head. So those of you who had big hair, what was your secret?
Only time I got my hair to do that was in college . My roommate ratted so much it took several days to get all the knots out of it after the dance. Personally I was glad that hair went long and straight. Straight was something mine would do without effort.
I can remember ironing my sister's (Karlan) hair. With the new straighteners they have now..my Grand daughters laugh their heads off when I tell them how Karlan would lay her head on the ironing table and I would use a damp towel and the regular iron!
Amazing what we would do!
I remember washing orange juice cans, cutting both ends out and using them as curlers in college.
And sleeping with the oj cans in our hair. How about sleeping with the bonnet hair drier on so your hair would be dry in the morning. Had to give that up when I got married. Rich didn't think that was too romantic.
