A pure guess would be east and a little bit south of town toward what I remember as the " Groefsma " place. That spelling is almost certainly wrong. Olive "G" wrote a history of Elmore County that was published way back when.
Do you think it just didn't survive our dry, windy weather? I just can't picture where all those trees might be. Or maybe they aren't anymore.
So East and South? On the other side of the railroad tracks?East side. That is pretty flat and you can see forever from the tracks. I don't know where the Grosema place is so I am only guessing about location.
