I was just thinking about the Easter Egg Hunts in Carl Miller Park. Hundreds of kids running all around finding the eggs that had been hidden. I never did get one of the golden eggs that had prizes donated by the merchants in Mountain Home. Anyone else ever get one of those eggs and what did you win? My parents helped to cook and dye the eggs that were used in the hunt.
Are the lilac bushes still there? I remember the sweet smell they produced. I still love lilacs.
