Is the picture really there or am I seeing things?

I've been really busy and decided today was the day I should fix the picture on the website but it looks like the picture of Warren's dad is there now.
This is what Warren had to say about the group:

Four of them were all CHAMPION IDAHO MUSICIANS ‘founding fathers’ of the Idaho Oldtime Fiddlers Organization and ‘fixtures’ at the Weiser Fiddle contest

Dad was the postmaster at MHAFB until he’d passed in 1965

He won the only Invitational Banjo contest ever held at SunValley in 1964

Lyle won all kinds of accompanists awards before he passed

Loyd was two time National Champion from Caldwell (he was a ditch rider in Caldwell when this picture was taken)

Dave won senior division at Weiser seven

Uncle Bert was a janitor at Bliss, and inspired me to learn how to play the guitar after Dad died

They played the twice at Seattle Worlds Fair in 1963 as part of the state centennial deal. (The Worlds Fair switched Benny Goodman out of the main Playhouse to the ‘little playhouse’ because the Idaho Oldtime Fiddlers drew a bigger a bigger audience with their first performance

No Susan, you aren't seeing things. The picture is there and has been from the beginning.
Interesting info on the history of the Weiser Old Time Fiddlers Contest, I had no idea there was such a tie to Mtn. Home people.

Re: Is the picture really there or am I seeing things?

After I sent the picture, it dawned on me that Leland’s Mom might know when or where the picture was taken. It was great talking to her. She knew exactly which picture I was talking about (she has one “somewhere”) and we did nail down where the picture WASN’T taken (at the World’s Fair since Lyle didn’t make that trip). So that pretty much means that it was taken somewhere here in Idaho. Having said that, the possibilities run from Weiser on the West, north to Riggins, east to Sun Valley, south to Gooding, then back to Weiser. There were dozens of stops in between, including Pine, where the Pfost’s and I used to own a time share. We had a jam session there one Labor Day weekend and the Mayor of MH tapped his feet to what was some of the best fiddling west of well Wesier.

I gotta call Leland’s mom back and see how she did on her Elk Hunt.

Life was good even way back then
