Re: Is the picture really there or am I seeing things?
After I sent the picture, it dawned on me that Leland’s Mom might know when or where the picture was taken. It was great talking to her. She knew exactly which picture I was talking about (she has one “somewhere”) and we did nail down where the picture WASN’T taken (at the World’s Fair since Lyle didn’t make that trip). So that pretty much means that it was taken somewhere here in Idaho. Having said that, the possibilities run from Weiser on the West, north to Riggins, east to Sun Valley, south to Gooding, then back to Weiser. There were dozens of stops in between, including Pine, where the Pfost’s and I used to own a time share. We had a jam session there one Labor Day weekend and the Mayor of MH tapped his feet to what was some of the best fiddling west of well Wesier.
I gotta call Leland’s mom back and see how she did on her Elk Hunt.
