Joe's Trucks

The troublemaker calls that 1948 Ford dump truck a work in progress: 2 1/2 years into it so far. It cranks up easy and purrs when it runs. I traded a totem pole for that truck. It was starting to sink in the ground up near Mayfield. A couple of cowboys helped me pull it up on a trailer to bring it home. It had no brakes and went over the front of the trailer and got lodged up between the trailer and Trog. I had all the peddles all the way down and I wet myself before I got her stopped. These guys just laughed. I had to pick the front of the truck up with the backhoe to get it off the trailer. The pole I traded stands up over looking Little Camus. Susan, John's Feed was once a farmers co-op. It just morphed into a mechanic shop over the years. Richard, I wish you could have seen Susan this last visit in Mountain Home. She was rattling around in an old pick up truck with a man in worn out jeans.
