I want to put hardwood in my kitchen..but decided to see how hard it is first...Looks like it will be difficult, but not impossible.
Before I do the floor in the kitchen, the cabinets, counter tops and backsplash come first. It amazes me to see these shows on tv where the family budgets $50,000 for a kitchen remodel! That would be nice, but I do enjoy the "challege" that is of course, it comes out ok.
My daughter bought an old house and had it moved to the country. She is a single mom and has done nearly all the work herself! She has replaced all the pipes under the house and plumbed it, not to mention all the sheetrocking and ceramic tile in the bathroom. Did I mention that she is always calling (Thank goodness we only live about 3 miles apart) and saying "Mom, I need your help" lol! She has done a fantastic job and really proud of her first "owned" home.
