Did any of you dedicate a song?

One of my best memories as a kid in Mountain Home was lying in bed at night with a little transistor radio, listening to a top 40 radio station that took dedications long into the night. I'm not even sure where the station was but Caldwell, Nampa or Boise seem to ring a bell the most. I know it wasn't Mtn. Home.

I'd lay there and see if I could recognize any names as the dedications came from everywhere, including some from Mtn. Home. And once in a while, sure enough, I'd recognize a name from our town.

Anyway, it seemed like a popular thing to do back then: dedicate a song to your sweetheart.

Did any of you do that? And if so, to whom?

I remember waiting until late at night so we could pick up Oklahoma City on the radio! Was that "Wolfman Jack"? Memories are hazy

Re: Re: Did any of you dedicate a song?

Wolfman was out of Los Angeles and then later out of Tijuana when he boosted his watts I believe.
