I have two grandaughters that are graduating from high school this year! The problem is that they live 60 miles apart and both ceremonies are the exact time and date!!! THAT'S NOT FAIR!
I told them I would go to whoever had the best grades! The problem is they are both excellent students.
My oldest daughter graduated exactly twenty years after I did and now the oldest grandchildren are 40 years...I am beginning to feel old!
I remember my Grandparents gave my older sister and I sewing machines and diamond watches for Graduation....Now days I have no idea! They are both leaving home to go to college, but not living in a dorm, so I guess I will give them money to help with the first month's rent or expenses.
ok, only 8 more grandkids to get through school! UG!!!
All joking aside, what a wonderful life to be able to look back and remember our Graduation,(I was in Oklahoma by then) and look forward to new Graduations for the future.
