When I first built my D8's I whipped up some 56L test cabinets. I listened to them while I made the ones Dave T. recommends. The larger ones do have more extension in the bass area,but I wouldnt say allot more. I don't really think it was worth it since the cabinets are double in size. Otherwise there were no sound differances between the two IMHO.
