Looking for some opinions on the above. I know they were supposedly more jazz fusion so this has put me off I guess. Also early Manfred Mann's Earthband. I know the hits but was interested in any info on their earliest stuff. Cheers.
Karney-boyo be big Manfred Mann Chapter Three fan boy..If you have Sunforest 'The Sound Of' LP jump to track ''Magician in the Mountain" his particular track is very simular sounding..
Hi Greg,I dont know what the Earthband are like, but both chapter 3 albums are worth hearing, some real cracking tracks on them, just occassionally they get bogged down in some jazz fiddling about.
The only Earthband lp Wallace will have in the collection is the one with red & black plain cover (3rd??) which starts of with "Darkness" track. Others have their moments but are extremely patchy.
Everytime I hear "revved up like a deuce" I wanna shit.
And wtf with this???: "Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat"
Ah Wally,

Great rock music and well worth a listen by the more open minded on this forum
