I probably know no more than you do about this privately pressed album - released in 1995 on Ja Records, Ireland, according to discogs. But I do have the words of all the songs which are great. I'd love to hear the album.
Here's the first two tracks' lyrics:
Bucket Full Of Dreams - David McWilliams
1. Dreamland
when the lights go out in dreamland
I got nowhere else to go
one 'these days I'll sleep in dreamland
bought my ticket long ago
I got friends I know in dreamland
they'll be waitin' there for me
paid the man to sleep in dreamland
where the dreamin's all for free
everything's all right when you're in dreamland
all those hard old stations fade away
but if you get to go to dreamland
the pretty lady makes you stay
easy road that leads to dreamland
don't have to travel anywhere
all it takes to get to dreamland
is the fool who pays the fare
Days Of Wonder
here we are and who is like us
we are dancing in the sun
we are walking on the water
all our battles to be won
we are easy in our laughter
we are careless with our tears
we are selfless with our pleasures
we are valiant without fear
days of wonder days of roses
days of laughter days of wine
days of joy of rhyme and reason
days of wonder days of mine
we are children of the morning
wild and tender with the night
we are constant with our honour
in our virtue clear and bright
we are brilliant in our vanity
with no secrets to conceal
but we are fragile in our beauty
do not break us on the wheel
days of wonder days of roses
days of laughter days of wine
days of love of rhyme and reason
days of wonder days of mine

If you've not found that yourself yet Phil, look harder/search smarter and you'll find it. Probably! Let me know, mate. I have a URL that'll give you 13 DMcW albums, but not Bucket Full Of Dreams.
Maybe you can try to get in touch with the webmaster here http://www.davidmcwilliams.com/ I believe he is in touch with David's family and they could have spare copies?
Does anyone know of any decent albums of 60's protest songs ?
Certainly do, Phil!
You might wanna start a dedicated thread narrowed down to the subject/title "Anti-War Protest Songs of the 60's" then you'll get enough to compile into dozens of CD length volumes, if you want. Otherwise you could get many thousands of 'protest' type albums, as protesting about the shit establishment was what the 60's head scene was all about.
Not all this album is just ant-war so much as anti straight society and includes also songs of love and drugs. Still, the first track became THE number one anti-vietnam war anthem for all time. Best heard and remembered with the real "gimmee an F" chant [gimme a U etc] at the beginning and not the corporate record machine's cunt's sanitised version they stuck on the LP and put out as a single to get airplays and make their dirty 'mreekano gringo dollars profits.
Country Joe & The Fish - I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die - Full Album
WOODSTOCK UNCENSORED CHANT VERSION - SOLO COUNTY JOE:
You thinking of his album 'Songs For Swingin' Survivors' rather the rarer album 'Capital', Gian? He made many fine albums and was a wonderful rebel.
Anyone can watch/buy Songs For Swingin' Survivors if they so wish. A beautiful LP.
PS.
I tried twice to put the instructions up here for you to put the youtube videos here. They are links to the actual videos, not just previews. Each time something seems to have gone wrong and my comments got lost!
