I reckon it might have been rated as sensational on release. Seems that Peter Fonda was on a mission back in the day, along with his sister, Dennis Hopper et al, providing "the squares" an insight into the world of mind altering pharmaceuticals, love-ins, freakout parties etc. Apart from the music (some of which is good) it now seems rather dated, poorly scripted, acted and visualized....to be filed under exploitational along with others of this ilk.
