tj assembly

finally heard tj assembly travelin round. i thought it was a fairly decent album a lot more garagey then what i expected but it was just a relief to finallyb hear it after waiting so long. only 99 copies pressed as it is one of the rarest artefacts of the psychedelic era. wonderful stuff

Re: tj assembly

Bath band, when they split up in Autumn 1967 they spent 45 shillings (that's £2.50 to you) to record and self-release a mere 25 copies of an LP "Travelin' Round"

A2 Blue Morning Sky
A3 I Can Make It
A4 She Doesn't Care
A5 Big Storm Brewing
A6 Something In It

Re: tj assembly

yes good observation. 25 copies. i thought it was 99. now would love to hear jygsaw record their own.also loads of great tracks on the british music archive site.would love to get mp3s of these but i dont think you can.

Re: tj assembly

3 of their tracks appear on the Trippin' and Smokin' CD comp along with other private UK stuff, mostly in the hard/prog rock direction. It can be had fairly cheap.
