I had written a more thorough thing on the KPM 1000 Series and Library Music in general, but i submitted it and it vanished returning to a blank page,so i'm buggered if i'm writing all that again.....for that to happen once more!!
i know i've been absent, but thats a bit much 0f Bravenet to take revenge......lol.....but seriously i had written a thorough piece on the KPM 1000"Green" Series on cd,and the cds that i have of KPM 1000 Series and the comps of KPM 1000 Series recordings.........
Though the KPM 1000 Series ran for around 12 years, from the mid 60s to around 1978,there are many sounds on those recordings that WILL be enjoyed for those on here!!
From mod Hammond organ groovers, fuzzed up guitar movers, sitar laced hipsters, funky soul stirrers,RnB stompers, psychedelic trippers, brass laden jazzrock moochers, early prog moon gazers, easy listening carpet huggers & orchestrated poppers as ALL those sounds are heard on the recordings.
Any other admirers of the KPM 1000 "Green" Series library recordings??

Hello Stuart,
Always nice to see a name from the past on the Forum, I hope al is well?
I haven't explored the world of Library Music yet, although articles keep popping up in Shindig! extolling the virtues of the genre. In your opinion - and I do value that as we share similar tastes in music - which of the KPM 1000 Green series are the best?

I once had the John Renbourn Group one, sold to a friend and guitarist who collected all Renbourn stuff. The only other LP I bought is this one, title is not promising but the music is good! https://www.45worlds.com/vinyl/label/kpm
