ABC In-Concert - The Moon & Star Concert Petition Drive
DEAR ABC ____________________ We at Majicat (Cat Stevens Scrapbook), Catstevens.de (German Cat Stevens Site) and the undersigned, feel the time is right for the world to once again enjoy the Cat Stevens November 11, 1973 Moon & Star TV Concert. We ask that Mr. Dick Clark and ABC to please consider releasing it to the general public. It has been alomost 30 years since this wonderful concert has been aired on television. Now that Yusuf Islam has come to terms with his past life as Cat Stevens, and with Cat Stevens music becoming very popular once again, the time is ideal for the release of this rare and beautiful concert. There will never be another Cat Stevens concert for us to enjoy. But with your help, we can once again witness this rare event. Please release the ABC - Moon and Star Concert, so new generations and old, can witness what a truly remarkable performer Cat Stevens really was._______________________________________ Sincerely, The Undersigned,

I have LOVED this live concert recording ever since I bought the audio on bootleg vinyl back in \'74, and then found it cleaned up a bit on CD. I would LOVE to purchase the show on an officially released 5.1 Blu-ray with remastered audio and video. I would gladly pay $50. God bless Cat Stevens! |
