I would just like to offer my deepest condolences. In October 2009 I lost my Mother and just this past October 2013 I lost my Father. March 1 is his birthday and I found your site while looking for a \'birthday in heaven\' image. I could never even want to imagine one of my two children passing. Although my parents had 9 of us, they too had lost 2 other children. I pray everyday you remember the happy times with your daughter and even the bad times, those are what made us strong. I am so sorry for you and your pain because I know it will never go away. Our pain is always within us but it is our memories that keep us going.

What a Beautiful angel Laurie Is.In a way I am lost for words.I guess words can't express the pain I feel in my heart for Your loss. I to lost my Son a year ago this last June.He was 21,and was born with a terminal illness called Cystic Fibrosis.Yes O Yes if Love could heal.I would still have Dustin with me.I wait for the day to be with him again,to see him smile and say, "Welcome Home Mom",took you long enuff to get here.Sometimes I feel like I can't wait anylonger,but God will carry me thru this.I Can Only Imagine What It Will Be Like.He was my only child,and now i am alone,sure I have loved ones,but it just isn't the same anymore.I struggle everyday to just get out of bed and try to make a day of it.But I don't know how to anymore.I feel lost like I can't find my way,I try to take a step forward each day,but I fall. God picks me up and carries me thru.I would love to hear from you if you could,maybe chat,and tell some stories.I need someone that has been thru the pain I feel.You will never forget Laurie,she will live in you Forever,

I had a son born in 1976 that died at 19 in 1995...then I lost mine that was born in 1973 ... in 2003 at age 30... So I know all too well the loss of a child! The ONE thing that has helped me through it... KNOWING THIS... MY CHILD was GOD'S CHILD BEFORE HE WAS MY CHILD... and GOD called my child back... He loaned me those boys to be mine for a time... HIS TIME NOT MINE.... I was bitter, and angry and mad at GOD when I lost my first child... BUT his death taught me a LOT of things... and I didn't feel that bitterness and anger when I lost again. I THANK GOD that ONE DAY, in God's time, I will get to be with my boys again FOREVER!
I am so sorry for your loss, but I do know there are ways to help us cope with the pain of loss... PLEASE don't let Laurie's death hurt you like this.. Laurie wouldn't want that... and GOD didn't take Laurie to punish you... and hurt you.... I KNOW THAT... and I PRAY that one day YOU will know that, too.... LOVE YOU, and PRAY for you. Rest in peace, Laurie...and send down some love for your mother...and SHOW HER how to make things better... whether it is volunteering where there are children she can help care for...or helping others in some other way... WE have to learn coping skills.... PLEASE ... let ME and the others on here that have suffered the loss you have HELP YOU DEAL with the PAIN and LOSS.
