Enjoyed seeing some of the offices that I worked in. I started with Western Electric in Dallas, Tx in 1961, took a permanent to Little Rock in 1964. Retired from AT&T Tech in 1990.

My Dad worked for C&P for 40 years. Started as a lineman, installer, and finally a CDO tech. I remember riding (sneaking) with him to the cdo officers and hearing the step bars when you opened the door. I remember him geting called out to "go get the generator truck" when a bad storm had the power out and when it did storm asking him "when they call are home?". My mother and sister worked at the petersburg office for a while when they still had operators there and it was full of step switches. ESS came along and daddy retired but C&P-Bell Atlantic-Verizon was good to him and us and I have fond memories of all those times when daddy "took me to work with him" and I got to ride along in his van. Great site and makes me think of him when I visit here even though he is gone.

Where are the San Francisco Central offices? I worked in the Bush Pine CO, Market Mcoppin CO, and the Montrose CO, their are many more in San Francisco . Did I miss something?
