Hi, has anyone purchased this manual before and was it worth it?
Some time ago as I remember?
I am not sure we are talking about the same manual, but if you mean the "Vehicle Maintenance Manual and Instruction Book for Motor cycle sidecar combination" as distributed to the forces, I would say its the best you can get.
I have used the 16H version personally for the last 35 odd years and it gives most you need.
It does not give you much specific info on the sidecar.
Its basically the 16H book but with sidecar drive info as well as some of the changed parts like the front fork steering head/handlebar clamps.
It also describes the removal and fitting of the sidecar but without specific sketches thereoff.
I do not have an electronic copy at the moment but I can try to make one.
My original book is rather murky but legible.
Thanks for your comments Rob as always,
I bought the manual that was offered on the web. It cost a pretty penny and I was just wondering if the price would be worth it. If it is mostly for the 16H, it will be better for me.
I meant to say that is for the military B4 but that many items are similar for the 16H.
I can send some pages specifically for the 16H if you wish.
Yes, you are correct, it is for the B4. Not a problem.
Here is the item as purchased. Bit tatty.
