I am just writing up a little bit in a word document to see whether the site wouldn’t accept writings from a word doc through Windows 7 on the laptop.

Before I ramble on too far and then can’t copy and paste it will try this for a test.

Liz, I have tried repeatedly to post a very long post and it keeps calling it Spam. I wonder if there is something wrong with the Forum or if one cannot copy and paste here anymore. Hoping you get this. I left a small item in facebook about my home being covered in soot by a furnace malfunction. I am just sick over the mess I came home to. The cleaners are here everyday and will be for at least another week. I cannot wait for this to be over so I can reclaim my life and home. I hope this post works.

Mermaid, I hope all your teeth problems are gone by now. It is warming here now. It has been on the cool side lately but this week is getting to our normal weather, well sort of. I have received a response from Bravenet and it is as I thought after consulting Dave and he said to write everything in Notepad as Word would have background html running which bravenets anti spam software was picking up on. They have said if we want to copy/paste then posts have to be written in Notepad.

I don;t know if this post is going to work as I am writing it in notepad so am doing this as a test rather than a long message which I lose yet again as I did yesterday!

Will try and post this now.

Hello dear friends

Just a quick line to see how this works as I am writing this up in notepad on the laptop. The problems with posting in here using copy paste is confirmed that it is a result of Bravenet's anti spam sofware as other message boards were getting a lot of spam. I can take the spam filter off and see if we get spam put in but they recommend adding in the feature of writing in numbers etc that are shown in a box and am not sure if I want to do that at the moment as I don't want to make it more difficult for us to post else we might as well just close down the board completely.

I am having to use laptop at the moment because the phone line that usually connects to the internet is down and I can't use PC to get online. The universe is nt making it easy for me to post that's for sure!

Anyway will try and post this and see if it works.

I hope that all are well and will write some moe tomorrow on the laptop using noepad which is a bit like stepping back in time I must admit! {smile}

PS It didn't let me post using notepad so have just turned the anti spam filter off and hopefully we won't get hit with too much. Let's see if this works now.
