"Geve not that which is holy to dogges...

... nether cast ye youre pearles before swyne lest they treade them vnder their fete and ye other tourne agayne and all to rent you."

Unless you're used to reading 16th Century stuff, that will sound a bit wierd to you.
It does to me!

"Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces."

"She stays with Timothy in black vibrations alley
Love makes statements in the closet mouths of cloth
Please, stay awhile and die with me
Word-witch in the dutch plane with the quiet beggar
Heaven near the womb of silence sense
The gold about hang chains of stone"

So, what's your views on this and the band?:

"If you say that someone is casting pearls before swine, you mean that they are wasting their time by offering something that is helpful or valuable to someone who does not appreciate or understand it."

I have their first two albums. Like them a lot.

I have a very weird 45 by them on ESP, two early versions of tracks that later appeared on Balaklava, namely I Saw The World and Guardian Angels, though they have different titles on this 45. I think it was probably a test pressing. I love their first two LPs and also have These Things Too and Use Of Ashes, which I remember liking less than the first two.
